There are many ways you can support individuals who need our services.
Monthly Donors are a select group of donors who pledge a monthly contribution to support the women and children who rely on the society’s Transition House and programs. The consistent support of these donors allows us to budget and plan our programs. Your contributions make a significant difference! We offer special recognition to donors who make such a significant contribution to our success.
Making a corporate donation is a simple and meaningful way to support our mission to Break the Cycles of Abuse.
By donating to Tri-City Transitions, you are demonstrating to your employees, customers and community that your company cares about the health of families and about the health of our community.
The funds that you raise will substantially improve the lives of the families we support.
Recognition options available, please contact us for more details.
Cultivating Hope contributors are those persons and corporations who offer donations of $247 or greater to support our work. This major support is vital to the women and children who utilize our support programs, and we offer special recognition to the donors who make such a significant contribution to our success.
Your planned gift to Tri-City Transitions Society demonstrates your commitment to improving the health of our community. No matter how small or large, your gift will help support crucial services and programs that grow strong relationships, strong families and a healthy community.
Making a planned gift can also have significant tax advantages that can benefit you and maximize the difference that your support can make.
Planned gift donations can be made in the following 3 ways:
1. Designated beneficiary of a life insurance policy or RRSP
2. A charitable gift left in a will
3. Transfer of real estate title
When a loved one passes away, words don’t necessarily ease the pain. But through sorrow can spring hope for someone else in need.
As an expression of your sympathy, you can make a donation to Tri-City Transitions in honour of a loved one who is deceased. At your request, we will send a letter of acknowledgment to an individual of your choice, often the next of kin. The letter will state that a donation was made to honour the memory of your loved one. The amount of the donation will not be disclosed. You may also choose not to have a letter sent or to have it sent anonymously. Memorial gifts may be eligible for a tax receipt.
You can donate to Tri-City Transition through Canada Helps.
Your donation will be put towards the programs that need it most and may contribute to implementing exciting new programs.
