ways you can make a difference and donate your money or your time. So, what makes us different?
Tri-City Transitions helps over 1500 families a year to get empowered from Day One of their interaction with us. We immediately begin giving them the tools and skills to build their resilience and sense of self-sufficiency. We recognize that, just by showing up, our clients are ready to move forward, so we get into action right away by giving them the resources they need to regain power in their lives.
Not only do we welcome people of all races and cultures, we also care for and support individuals of all gender identities. Furthermore, we recognize that, in today’s society, men are not always the abusers, but that they are also subject to emotional, psychological, and even physical abuse by partners of any gender identity.
We help anyone who is being subjected to abuse or intimate partner violence. We need your funding to ensure that our programs serve the whole Tri-Cities community.
We are a sustainable charity with ethical and sound business practices since our inception in 1975. We are an established registered charity with a track record of making a difference in the lives of citizens in our local community. We are resilient and adaptive to change, just as we aim to facilitate these qualities in our clients.
There are many ways you can support individuals who need our services. Your donation will be put towards the programs that need it the most and may contribute to implementing exciting new programs.

We know loss is difficult and, sometimes, there are no words that can convey your feelings. Helping others and giving hope can help you work through your grief.
Honour someone you love by donating to the Tri-City Transitions Society in their memory. You can donate an expression of sympathy in the name of a deceased loved one and we will send a letter informing the next of kin of your kind act of caring. You can instead make an anonymous donation and still have a letter sent, or you can choose to not have a letter sent. Regardless, we will keep the amount of your donation confidential.
Memorial gifts are often eligible for a tax receipt.

By providing us with this essential funding, you will be helping us create and continue to provide programs for men, women, and children in need. Our community-based programs help women, men and children affected by domestic violence by offering support that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We are a non-governmental, charitable organization that relies on contributions from donors like you to make a real and lasting difference in the lives of local families impacted by domestic violence.
