Social and Emotional Connections – Parent’s Session (for parents of elementary school children)

An event every week that begins at 10:30 am on Monday, repeating until March 22, 2021
The elementary years may be considered care-free years however you might be noticing some strong emotions that your young child(ren) may be experiencing. Come together with other parents to identify, make sense of, and learn how to connect and support the many emotions your child may be experiencing. Parents’ group and children’s group will meet 5 times and topics will include:
- Self-Esteem
- Emotions
- Self-regulation and Coping
- Healthy Boundaries
- Healthy Relationships
Parents’ session – 5 Mondays 10:30 – 12:00, Feb 22 – March 22nd, 2021
Childrens’ session – 5 Mondays 3:15 – 4:15, Feb 22- March 22nd, 2021
Children’s group will meet weekly and use a mixture of art, music and dialogue to support their learning, creativity and individuality.
