The society offers a number of parenting support programs to meet you and your family’s unique needs. All programs are open to residents of Coquitlam and area.

Our support programs provide a place of safety, respect and empowerment.
These are free individual parenting sessions available for parents who want knowledge and support in how to best help facilitate their children’s growth. These one- to- one or group parenting sessions take place in the main office. You can call the main office to set up an intake appointment.
The Courage to Parent is a free 4-week parenting group designed for parents who have experienced abuse and have children ages 7-18. Parents will learn about: the impact on children of witnessing abuse; parenting styles; gain skills in communication and how to use effective discipline with children and teens. Feel more empowered and confident as a parent.
If you have a child between 0 – 6 years old and would like to learn more about building a secure attachment with your child, this 2-part workshop is for you! Childcare subsidies are available for those who would like to attend.
Do you have children between 0-6 years of age? Do you want to learn more about reinforcing positive behaviours? Do you want to make parenting fun and less stressful? Do you want to discover ways to build self-esteem in your children? Has your family been impacted by some form of family conflict? If yes, this group is for you.
The Empowering Dads Group is an 8 week parenting group designed especially for dads to share experiences and learn more about their unique parenting concerns in a safe and supportive environment.
Individual and group support for mothers of children between the ages of 0-6 who have been impacted by some form of family conflict. Here, individuals learn strategies for effective parenting and learn how to uncover the best in their children.
Group support for moms and pregnant women at the CABE alternate school in Coquitlam.
Provides a safe and supportive environment for parents in blended families to learn how to effectively manage transitions to the blended environment and parent effectively in the new households.
